On the morning of October 8, 2019, Professor Petr Sáha, Vice Rector of Tomas Bata University (UTB), Czech Republic had a meeting with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
Attending the meeting were Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice-president of TDTU, Dr. Phan Dao, Director of European Cooperation Center, Leaders of several Faculties, including Information Technology, Applied Sciences and Industrial Fine Arts.
At the meeting, apart from summarizing the students’ and professors’ exchange program between the two sides carried out in the past time, Prof. Petr Sáha also introduced potential cooperation projects between TDTU and UTB such as researching on new energy generating materials, researching footwear market in Vietnam, and applying technology 4.0 in assisting in designing footwear products.
Representatives of TDTU are very interested in the ideas promoted by Prof. Petr Sáha and will quickly discuss details as well as create favorable conditions for cooperation projects to go smoothly.
Prof. Petr Sáha is a leading expert in the field of chemical technology and polymer, the former President of the World Polymer Association.Prof. Petr Sáha has made an important contribution to the development of the world polymer science, to the training of leading experts in polymer and education in general; especially the considerable help to expand educational cooperation between the Czech Republic and Vietnam as well as between TDTU and universities in the Czech Republic and Europe.
