Ton Duc Thang University Holds New Academic Year 2026–2027 Coordination Conference

On August 18, 2026, at the Bao Loc Campus, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the New Academic Year 2026–2027 Coordination Conference (2026 Summer Coordination Conference), with the participation of the University’s Board of Management and leaders of academic faculties and functional units across the University.

At the Conference, the Board of Management heard a report on the implementation of the conclusions of the second University-wide Coordination Conference of the 2025–2026 academic year. The report evaluated the outcomes, progress, and effectiveness of tasks assigned to each unit.

The Conference focused on reporting and discussing a number of key areas important to TDTU’s development, including science and technology; training and quality assurance; digital transformation; human resource development; university governance; and communications.

Notably, the report on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on science and technology during the 2025–2026 academic year provided an overview of the University’s science and technology activities over the past year. The report also proposed key solutions and tasks to further promote the development of science and technology, while identifying goals and directions requiring concerted efforts in the coming period. The results presented at the Conference showed that the University’s science and technology activities have made strong and sustainable progress in recent years.

In preparation for the 30th anniversary of the University’s establishment, the Conference also discussed and proposed innovative ideas, projects, products, and models to commemorate this important milestone.

The University-wide Coordination Conference is a regular TDTU activity aimed at reviewing task implementation, promptly addressing difficulties and challenges, reaching consensus on work directions, and identifying objectives for the University’s sustainable development.

Through the New Academic Year 2026–2027 Coordination Conference, units across the University conducted a comprehensive review of their areas of work, identified issues requiring improvement, and reached consensus on directions for implementing tasks in the new academic year. This will enable TDTU to further concretize its development goals, promote science and technology, enhance training quality, accelerate digital transformation, and build an increasingly modern and internationally integrated higher education environment.
