On February 24, 2023, the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed and worked with the delegation of the Economic and Commercial Office, Embassy of Denmark in Ho Chi Minh City.

From the Embassy of Denmark in Ho Chi Minh City, there were Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet Mai - Head of Economic and Commercial Office, Mr. Curt Liliegreen - Project Manager, Mr. Michael Harboe - Senior Analyst, Ms. Anna Herzberg - Economist.

Dr. Tran Minh Tung - Head of Faculty; Assoc. Dr. Architect. Ngo Le Minh - Head lecturer of Architecture Department; MSc. Dang The Hien - Lecturer of Planning Department, International Relations Coordinator of the Faculty of Civil Engineering from TDTU welcomed the delegation.

The two parties discussed about cooperation opportunities and research projects such as the main features of the urbanization process in Vietnam and this process since the Doi Moi reforms until now, the actual situation and the policies of the two sides. Government policies related to social housing, affordable housing and housing for workers in Vietnam, the effectiveness of Vietnam's housing development program in general and Ho Chi Minh City’s in particular.

The meeting promises to bring many professional exchange activities between the two parties, bringing great opportunities for TDTU lecturers and students to access and acquire knowledge from Danish experts and researchers in the near future.
