On February 16, 2023, Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) led by Mr. Tran Cong Kha - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
The Delegation also includes Mr. Ha Van Khuong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Hung - General Director, Mr. Diep Xuan Truong - Deputy Head of Industrial and Environment Department, Mr. Nguyen Tran Nghiem Vu - General Director of Ben Thanh Rubber Joint Stock Company, and representatives of leaders of the Rubber Research Institute and Rubber Industrial College.
On the TDTU side, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice President, and leaders of functional units welcomed and worked with the Delegation.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Cong Kha highly appreciated TDTU's autonomous model and its reputation in the world university rankings. At the same time, he also expressed his desire that TDTU accompanies VRG to resume activities interrupted due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and develop spearheads based on the strengths of the two sides and the content of the implemented cooperation agreement.
Dr. Tran Trong Dao affirmed that the University will coordinate with VRG to quickly promote the contents, take advantage of the available resources so that the two sides can fulfill the common goal of training and providing high-quality human resources for VRG in particular, and for the business community domestically and internationally in general.
VRG and TDTU have a long history of comprehensive cooperation. On the basis of a solid relationship and achieved results, the two sides will continue to implement key activities such as: recruiting and developing human resources, providing career orientation for students and developing professional skills for employees of the corporation, implementing tour and internship programs for TDTU students, connecting the corporation with the network TDTU's partner enterprises and cooperation in science and technology development.
