During a recent business trip to the US and Colombia, representatives of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) visited and worked with Cornell University. The delegation consisted of Dr. Tran Trong Đao and Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President of TDTU.
Representatives of TDTU had a discussion about the cooperation between the Labor Relations Training Institute of Cornell University and the Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Unions of TDTU. In addition, cooperation programs on education and research between Cornell University and other faculties of TDTU were also discussed in detail.
Cornell University is a non-profit private university in the US, ranked in the top 20 best universities in the world according to THE and QS rankings. For many years, TDTU and Cornell University have cooperated effectively in many programs, especially the exchange of lecturers and students. There were 5 groups of Cornell University students with 35 students exchanging and studying short-term courses at TDTU. At the same time, Cornell University has granted 6 scholarships for 6 TDTU students to attend Debate Summer Camp at Cornell University for the past summers. In addition, the two parties also organized skills training courses and debate contests for students of the two universities.
