Ton Duc Thang University Receives the Certificate of Accreditation for the Accounting Study Program from the Certified Practising Accountant Australia (CPAA)
On January 9, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a ceremony to receive the certificate of accreditation for its equivalent study program from CPAA. During the event, the Faculty of Accounting at TDTU also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Parker Russell Vietnam Co., Ltd. (PRV).
Ms. Huynh Ngoc Thien, the Chief Representative of CPAA in Vietnam represented CPAA at the ceremony. Mr. Nguyen Song Toan, CEO, attended the event on behalf of PRV. From TDTU, the ceremony was attended by Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi My Hanh, Dean of the Faculty of Accounting; and representatives from various Departments, Faculties, and other units under TDTU.
Recently, the Faculty of Accounting at TDTU has actively collaborated with CPAA on the accreditation of its study programs. CPAA has officially recognized the programs as meeting its quality standards. CPAA is one of the world’s largest accounting organizations, with over 170,000 members in more than 100 countries and territories. This recognition reinforces the quality and credibility of TDTU’s study programs, especially in accounting.
As part of the event, the Faculty of Accounting at TDTU also signed an MoU with PRV, a member of the Parker Russell International network. This organization is a globally recognized leader in business consultancy, taxation, and auditing.
The signing of an MoU with PRV is a milestone that will enhance academic quality, strengthen international collaboration, and affirm the standing of TDTU and its Faculty of Accounting. The cooperation agreement includes activities such as internships for students, training courses, business forums, and recruitment events. These opportunities will help TDTU students gain a competitive edge in the future job market.
Immediately after the signing ceremony, TDTU’s Faculty of Accounting, CPAA Vietnam, and PRV co-hosted a business forum titled “Career Orientation for Developing High-Quality Human Resources in Transfer Pricing and Related Transactions.” During the forum, speakers and experts provided fresh perspectives, practical insights, and valuable expertise to participants. The event marked a positive beginning in the collaboration between TDTU and its new partners.
