Ton Duc Thang University ranks 245th on Sustainable Development in 2017

GreenMetric World University Rankings has just announced the leaderboard of universities in the world in 2017; and this year, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) ranks 245th among 619 universities on Sustainable Development in 2017. Wageningen University (the Netherlands) ranks 1st on the list followed by Nottingham (the UK) on 2nd position, California Davis University (the USA) ranks number 3.

This year, the participation of more than 100 new universities including a lot of prestigious ones add up to the number of universities evaluated from 516 universities in 2016 to 619 universities in 2017, which lowers the rank of TDTU to 89. However, the actual results show that TDTU moves forward on the whole demonstrating the effective efforts of the University in continuing to improve the quality of education, science and technology to ensure the sustainable and long-term development of TDTU and TDTU's contribution to maintaining a clean and green university environment in Ho Chi Minh City in particular. The image of TDTU along with the Vietnamese flag on the map of the TOP 250 world leading university on Sustainable Development is a great honor for Ton Duc Thang University and Vietnam.

UI Greenmetric World University Rankings is considered the first and most prestigious ranking in today’s assessment and measurement of sustainable development efforts of universities in the world in terms of green space in training campus, infrastructure, energy, climate change, waste management, water resources, transport, training and research on sustainable development.
