On June 20, 2024, the 4th International Conference on Applied Sciences (ICAS 4) with the participation of leading experts in the fields of Food Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics was held at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
The Conference was co-organized by TDTU, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan), National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Chinese Culture University (Taiwan), Ajou University (Korea), Changwon National University (Korea).
Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President of TDTU, Head of the Organizing Committee, Dr. Do Tuong Ha, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, and leaders of a number of faculties, units, lecturers and researchers of interested units attended the Conference.
Prof. Shir - Ly Huang, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan), Prof. Kyoung Lee, Changwon National University (Korea), Prof. Kuan-Hung Lin, Chinese Culture University (Taiwan) co-chaired the Conference.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the Conference, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President of TDT affirmed: “We all know that we are currently living in a world driven by technology. The progress of human society is both the goal and the result of scientific and technological advances. Therefore, the Conference Organizing Committee sincerely hopes that this conference will provide a scientific platform for participants to exchange ideas and propose meaningful academic and practical solutions, thereby solving challenges not only in science but also in everyday life.”
As a forum for exchange on the application of Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering to life (Agriculture, Food, Medicine), the ICAS-4 attracted nearly 70 research projects. The Organizing Committee selected the best research projects in various fields to present at the Conference.
