“En sinh vien 2017”, the first professional MC contest for students at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), attracted the participation of around 700 students from institutions, universities and colleges across Ho Chi Minh City. Overcoming various challenges during the competition, TDT students, who displayed great energy, courage and solid skill, had three students make it through to the Top 9 and achieved outstanding results.

From 27 to 29 May 2017, nearly 200 students from Hermann Gmeiner and Ngo Gia Tu High School of Khanh Hoa Province experienced a student internship program of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

The 2017 English Speech Contest, organized by the Creative Language Center (TDT CLC), is a platform for students to raise awareness of the importance of English, to motivate them to improve their English communication skills, to adapt to the present international training environment at TDTU, as well as to think about their future careers.
The Executive Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Faculty of Accounting recently held the final round of the RING THE GOLDEN BELL CONTEST with the participation of teachers, alumni and 100 contestants from many different departments at TDTU.
On the afternoon of May 13 1974, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a Closing Ceremony and presented awards for the Student Games (TDT GAMES 2017) which involved a month of exciting competitions with nearly 1,000 athletes; TDTU students and international students. There were 12 sports: soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, tug, badminton, track and field, swimming, taekwondo, martial arts and dance.
