On 27th July 2019, a group of students and representatives from New Zealand universities including the University of Otago, Waitako University, Massey University, Auckland University, and Victoria University visited and interacted with Ton Duc Thang University students (TDTU).
The guests were guided to visit Tan Phong Campus and introduced about TDTU; participated in teambuilding activities with TDTU students.
Ms Natalie Lulia, Head of New Zealand Student Union, was very impressed with the confidence and ability to communicate in English of Vietnamese students and staffs. She stated that many students can pronounce and speak fluently like native speakers.
New Zealand students were interested in the experiences at TDTU and wished to have opportunities to study and exchange culture at TDTU.
Previously, the above universities together with the Education New Zealand (ENZ) visited and worked with TDTU to agree on cooperation programs. This tour is the next step to deploy the content of education cooperation which was agreed between the parties.
