James Cook University, Singapore visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University

On the morning of April 22, 2022, the representatives of James Cook University, Singapore (JCU) led by Prof. May Tan Mullins - Head of Department and Ms. Cassandra Lee - Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department, Ms. Selena Le - Area Manager of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia - Myanmar, Ms. Julia Vong - Representative in Vietnam in the Northern region paid a visit to open the upcoming cooperation programs with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach - Acting Director of the Institute for International Cooperation, Research and Training, and heads of some units of TDTU welcomed the delegation.

The delegation was guided to visit a number of typical projects such as the Inspire Library, Vietnam - Finland International School (VFIS), Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Dormitory, etc. TDTU is very proud of the compliments from JCU for its modern facilities, civilized attitude, and dynamic staff that contribute to training a generation of polite and talented students for society.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach said: “In the context of global integration, TDTU is very interested in connecting with James Cook University as well as other prestigious international educational institutions with the common goal of fostering high-quality human resources. This is the training orientation that helps TDTU students stand out in the domestic and international labor market.”

With the mission of spreading knowledge, more than 99% of TDTU students have jobs within a short time after graduation and the University always receives positive feedback from employers because TDTU graduates have not only the knowledge but also communication skills, interaction skills, and problem-solving skills.

JCU Singapore was established in 2003 and is affiliated with James Cook University, Australia. This is the first public university of the Australian Government to have a campus in Singapore.
