Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) paid a visit and worked with Ton Duc Thang University

On the morning of May 27, 2019, the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) paid a visit and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). The delegation included Mr. William H. May, Senior Vice President, Global Head of Certifications and Educational Programs; Mr. Michael Sell, Senior Vice President, Global Director for Business Development; Mr. Julian Chen, Senior Vice President, Certifications and Educational Programs, Financial Risk Manager. From TDTU, there were Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice President; Leaders and lecturers of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, the Faculty of Accounting, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged training programs for international professional qualifications for Accounting and Finance departments, namely Risk Management Certificate. This cooperation program aims to organize other specific activities to create conditions for students to access international professional certificates.

Dr. Tran Trong Dao, who was the speaker, stated that one of the contents of TDTU's education programs is to create conditions for students to directly access a multinational working environment, and own international professional certificates while studying at the University. This will be a competitive advantage of TDTU students in the context of global integration.
