Consul General of Hungary visiting and working with Ton Duc Thang University

On the morning of March 18, 2022, Ms. Szilvia Szojka - Consul General, Ms. Tran Song Ha - Assistant Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President, Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach - Acting Director of the International Cooperation, Research & Training Institute (INCRETI), Ms. Sanner Manner - Principal of Vietnam - Finland International School (VFIS) welcomed the delegation.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Tran Trong Dao said that it was TDTU's great honor to welcome the Hungarian Consul General as the first international guests to visit the University after two years of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Consulate plays an important role in connecting TDTU with Hungarian universities and research institutions. Potential areas of cooperation between TDTU, the Consulate and Hungarian universities are not only cooperation programs in research and education, but also an opportunity to improve the quality of human resource training and the opportunity for staff and students of the University to exchange and learn with international colleagues and friends.

Ms. Szilvia Szojka is very excited to visit and work with the University. She expressed her surprise at what TDTU has achieved and highly appreciated the potential for cooperation between the two sides. She hopes that the goals set out will be accomplished in small steps, which in turn develop into larger goals in the future. The Consul General said that she would always be ready to help, support and create all favorable conditions for the development of TDTU.
