A conference with the theme "New Vision for Vietnamese Gaming" was held on March 18, 2023, at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) with support from the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The conference was honored with the presence of Mr. Le Quang Tu Do - Director of the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information under the Ministry of Information and Communications, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of TDTU, sponsors, representatives of companies and businesses in the field, and more than 1000 TDTU students and young people who love and are passionate about learning about the Gaming industry.
At the opening ceremony of the conference, Mr. Le Quang Tu Do expressed his impression of the University's modern campus as well as the dynamism, enthusiasm and youthfulness of TDTU students. He declared that picking TDTU to host this event was a very wise decision. Through the conference, he hopes that participants will gain a correct understanding of the gaming sector, shed their preconceived notions, and strengthen their connections with enterprises, organizations, and investment funds.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Trong Dao acknowledged the Ministry of Information and Communications and the businesses for arranging a meaningful event with TDTU. Dr. Dao also thanked them for creating opportunities for TDTU students to quickly approach the potentials and development patterns of the Gaming industry in Vietnam. TDTU also wishes to make contributions to training a generation of young, talented, qualified and brave human resources to bring Vietnam to the world level.
During the conference, representatives of leading enterprises in the Vietnamese Game industry brought interesting information to participants about the industry's prospects, real stories from the ideation stage to the product’s public release and career potential for young people who love the gaming industry in general, and students of software engineering and graphic design majors in particular.
Many other activities have attracted the participation of a large number of students such as direct experience at booths, exhibition of Game projects, meeting and exchanging with famous industry speakers at the 360-degree seminar in Game industry, awarding the Top 3 best projects in the Contest "Searching for potential game projects".
