As part of the university's internationalization plan, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) has implemented many programs to develop the scale and quality of international cooperation in training and research. The number of international partners as well as the number of inbound and outbound students has continuously increased in the past 10 years.

In order to attract international students to study at the university, TDTU has not only developed training programs according to international standards, invested in modern facilities for study, research and accommodation, but also offered many scholarships exclusively for international students.

In the academic year 2020-2021, TDTU had awarded 268 scholarships to international students of undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs.

Thanks to the flexible scholarship policy, the number of international students from many countries such as France, USA, Russia, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, India, Korea, Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Nigeria,... studying at TDTU has continuously increased.

In the academic year 2021-2022, the number of scholarships expected to be awarded to international students will be 250, including 130 for undergraduate students, 90 for graduate students and 30 for PhD Students, worth of 1 million USD. The scholarship program gives priority to international students of the Undergraduate Program taught in English (including 30 scholarships for undergraduates, 50 for graduates and 30 for PhD students).

Scholarships for international students at TDTU include 25%, 50% and 100% of training, Vietnamese language learning and boarding costs.

At the end of each academic year, TDTU will re-evaluate the study results of students to decide the scholarship level for the next year. This policy encourages students to continuously work to keep or increase their scholarship level.
