On July 20th, 2020, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a cooperation agreement with 02 foreign-invested enterprises, including Manpower Group Vietnam (Manpower Vietnam Co., Ltd.) and Chailease International Leasing Co., Ltd. (CILC).
Strengthening cooperation with businesses brings benefits to learners from many perspectives, including creating an internship environment and practical contact, and skill development with experts. The business network also provides employment opportunities for graduates. For many years, along with strict control of output standards, developing a friendly business network has been a solution to ensure the 100% employment rate of TDTU graduates.
Business cooperation also helps TDTU improve the education quality. Businesses regularly provide feedback on the quality of the University’s output, provide program suggestions, and participate in career skills development activities for students. Some businesses deploy programs of research and technology transfer with the University’s research units.
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huong, Human Resource Director of Manpower Group Vietnam shared: “Enterprises are currently more flexible in recruiting personnel and selecting talented people for the team is always the priority.” With this mindset, Manpower Group Vietnam actively seeks for education institutions to recruit the best students, “places” business requirements at the University, and joins the University in delivering skills development and career orientation for learners. These actions will surely bring benefits to both the enterprise and TDTU.
In the past 2 years, TDTU has signed the cooperation agreement with more than 300 new enterprises that enlarges the size of the University’s friendly business network to more than 1000. Most of the enterprises after signing the agreement have implemented effective cooperation contents with the University.
