From November 14, 2022 to November 25, 2022, a short-term exchange program between La Trobe University (Australia) and Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was organized with the participation of students from La Trobe University. La Trobe University students would cooperate with students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of TDTU to jointly implement the project "Technology for research, development and production of medicines in Vietnam".

The program was designed with a variety of academic and extra-curricular activities, in which a lot of time was spent participating in the project to solve cases in research, development and production of drugs in Vietnam. In addition to participating in the project, the exchange students also had the opportunity to practically experience the drug manufacturing process at Korea United Pharm INT'L Joint Stock Company; visit historical sites and landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta, and Vung Tau and take part in many other meaningful activities.

This is the second time La Trobe University has sent its students to participate in a short-term exchange program at TDTU after a hiatus due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
