On May 31 afternoon, the Faculty of Accounting of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the Center of Applied Training and Developing Economics Solutions (CATDES) organized the Seminar on “Business Talk - Connecting businesses through career modules.” The seminar was attended by the lecturers and staff of the Faculty of Accounting and representatives of business partners who have been with the Faculty in the vocational courses during the past time.
Dr. Le Thi My Hanh, the Dean, has summarized the results achieved in the implementation of the Career Module for the 2nd and 3rd year students; and thanked businesses who have been actively working with the Faculty. This cooperation has improved the quality of training associated with practice, contributing to significantly improving career awareness for students.
The representatives of businesses highly appreciated the spirit, working attitude and progress of TDTU students after the internship and working process in companies. The detailed and practical suggestion from the employers about the time of apprenticeship, the requirements of attitudes and skills that a trainee needs, etc. has been fully recorded by the Faculty of Accounting to adjust and promote good aspects to improve the quality of the Career Module.
The Faculty also proposed to businesses the direction of cooperation in the coming time in order to increase the efficiency, and create the best conditions for students to study and practice while they are in the university. The support fund for students with difficult condition of the Faculty of Accounting will be established soon to support and encourage the spirit of students who are eager to learn but have difficult conditions.
