Ton Duc Thang University Welcomes Class 30 Freshmen
On August 27, 2026, amid the excitement of the first days of the new academic year, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the “Proud of Class 30” welcome program exclusively for Class 30 freshmen. The event marked a special occasion for the University’s newest members to meet the Presidential Board and leaders of faculties and functional units for the first time, officially beginning their university journey at TDTU.
In his welcoming remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of TDTU, congratulated Class 30 and shared his expectations for the new generation of students. From this day forward, they are not only embarking on a new academic journey but also officially becoming part of the TDTU community—a place where every student is encouraged to take initiative in learning, discover their potential, nurture their aspirations, and continuously improve themselves.
Following the President’s welcome, leaders of the University’s units also extended their best wishes, thoughtful advice, and sincere words of encouragement to Class 30. Each unit, through its respective role, will accompany students throughout their university years—from study, research, and personal development to student life and experiential activities.
During the program, TDTU’s newest members shared their reasons for choosing the University. Each decision began with a personal story, yet all were united by the joy and happiness of officially becoming TDTU students.
