Ton Duc Thang University Hosts a Healthcare Seminar for Lecturers and Students
On April 8, 2026, a seminar titled “Scientific Nutrition - Enhancing Comprehensive Health” was held at Ton Duc Thang University featuring nutritionists from Nam Sai Gon International General Hospital as keynote speakers. The program was organized by the Personnel and Administrative Affairs Department in coordination with the University’s Trade Union, aiming to equip participants with knowledge of scientific nutrition, thereby enhancing awareness and promoting health care skills among staff and students of the University.
At the seminar, Dr. Nguyen Thu Ha shared many practical insights on the role of nutrition in health, principles for building a balanced diet, how to choose safe foods, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Notably, the speaker analyzed the link between nutrition and the prevention of non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular issues, diabetes, and obesity, while offering useful advice to help participants take a more proactive approach to their personal healthcare.
Beyond providing expert knowledge, the program also dedicated time for interaction, addressing inquiries, and offering direct consultations for participants. This activity provided lecturers, staff, and students with further opportunities to access scientific nutritional knowledge in a relatable, easy-to-understand, and practical manner, thereby contributing to the enhancement of physical and mental health for both work and study.
