On April 21st, 2018, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized TDTU International Cultural Day and TDTU Music Festival 2018. This was an annual cultural event with the participation of many Vietnamese students, international students studying at TDTU and students from other universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
With the theme of "Marvelous Land" in the spirit of Western Europe, an exciting International Cultural Day took place with a series of diverse activities such as international cultural market, traditional art performance, international food booths, folk games from all over the world and music. The "TDTU Music Festival 2018" attracted nearly 5,000 people. This event was celebrated majestically and professionally with impressive performances. It was an international cultural activity that not only gave students an opportunity to express their knowledge of national cultures but also educated students about their sense of community life by donating the total amount of VND 20 million to TDTU Study Promotion Fund to help poor students. In particular, the event of International Cultural Day and Music Festival was carried out by TDTU students including the core role of members of the Music Clubs, Electronic Dance Music (EDM), TDT Event Development Team, and STDT Communications. The event also helped students develop their strengths and contribute to the improvement of social skills and organizational skills to increase the chances of success in personal career when graduating from University.
