On the afternoon of 19th November 2019, Representatives of Illinois DCEO, the USA visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Together with the delegation, there were representatives of Illinois State universities including the University of Illinois at Chicago; Illinois State University, Millikin University, Governors State University, Northern Illinois University, Lewis University, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Northeast Illinois University and Heartland Community College.

From TDTU, there were Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Vice President and Deans of several Faculties which include Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Social Sciences and Humanities, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, Applied Sciences, and International Studies; and Dean of the Department of Graduate Studies.

Both sides discussed the pathway programs of collaborative education and study abroad. In addition, the parties also agreed to soon implement the student/ lecturer exchange programs as well as the short-term courses.
