A visit of Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg to Ton Duc Thang University

On the morning of December 7, 2022, the representatives of Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (OTH Regensburg), Germany, led by Prof. Markus Westner - Head of the International Cooperation Department visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Welcoming the delegation were representatives of TDTU, including Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach - Acting Director of the International Cooperation, Research and Training Institute; Dr. Pham Van Huy - Acting Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, and Dr. Huynh Van Van - Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed potential cooperation programs such as exchanging students for study, cultural exchange and scientific research; creating conditions for students to participate in internships at partner companies of the 2 Universities to approach and become familiar with the environment and culture of multinational companies; cooperating in research and organizing scientific conferences; and coordinating in building joint training programs at Master’s level in 2 fields of Computer Science and Electrical - Electronics.

Prof. Markus Westner expressed his impression of TDTU’s achievements and looked forward to working together to build a sustainable education system. On this occasion, he also specially invited the TDTU delegation to attend the International Festival at OTH Regensburg to learn about the culture and practical educational program.

OTH Regensburg is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Bavaria in the Federal Republic of Germany. It was established in 1971, and currently training more than 10,000 students in 8 different faculties with more than 50 undergraduate and Master's degrees.
