On the morning of March 10, 2023, the delegation of the People’s Security Academy led by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truong Tho - Deputy Director visited and studied TDTU's university governance model in the age of digital transformation. Accompanying them were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Dung - Chief of Office and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chu Quang Thien - Chief of the Department of Personnel and Organization.

On the side of TDTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Loan Thuy - Manager of the Library, Dr. Duong Thi Thuy Van - Acting Head of the Department of Testing and Quality Assessment, and representatives of leaders of relevant units warmly welcomed and worked with the delegation.

The delegation was guided to visit several typical buildings at TDTU such as the Inspire Library, Data Center, etc., and discussed the university governance model with the management software system built and operated by the TDTU team.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truong Tho expressed his impression of the database system and the way the information system is operated and optimized to serve the digital transformation in the education of TDTU. At the same time, they hoped that TDTU would create conditions for the two parties to cooperate, share experience on how to apply information technology, as well as provide technical support and management methods to optimize the curriculum and improve training quality for staff of the People’s Security Academy.

On behalf of the University, Dr. Duong Thi Thuy Van highly appreciated the goodwill of the Academy and expressed TDTU's willingness to exchange and share expertise to build and improve the quality of the information system of the People’s Security Academy from TDTU's experience in management and teaching.

People’s Security Academy, established in 1946, is the first training base of the Vietnam People's Public Police force. Over 77 years of establishment and development, the Academy has trained nearly 70,000 students at bachelor, master and doctoral levels; contributing to high-quality human resources for the Public Police sector, the Military Security Force, the Border Guard, and the forces of the home affairs unit to build and defend for the homeland protection.
