The Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University Organized an Online Access Point to Attend the National Conference on Thoroughly Grasping and Implementing Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo

On May 18, 2025, at the main campus in Tan Phong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized an online access point to attend the conference on studying, understanding, thoroughly grasping, and implementing the Resolution of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.

At the TDTU access point, attendees included members of the University Party Committee; secretaries and members of subordinate Party cells; members of the Executive Committee of the University Trade Union; members of the Executive Committee of the University Youth Union; and leaders of affiliated and subordinate units of the University, under the chairmanship of Comrade Vu Anh Duc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, with connections from the main venue at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House, to various access points across ministries, sectors, localities, agencies, and units.

At the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented Topic 1: “Key and core contents of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025, of the Politburo on the development of the private economy and the implementation plan for Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW.”

Next, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man presented Topic 2: “Key and core contents of Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW, dated April 30, 2025, of the Politburo on reforming the development and implementation of laws to meet the requirements of national development in the new era, and the implementation plan for Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW.”

After listening to the presentations on the two topics, General Secretary To Lam delivered an important speech providing guidance for the conference.

At the conclusion of the conference, Head of the Central Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia delivered a speech acknowledging the directives of General Secretary To Lam and provided guidance on thoroughly grasping, disseminating, and implementing Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo

Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW outlines a vision toward 2045 in which Vietnam will have a high-quality, modern legal system that aligns with advanced international standards and practices, while remaining grounded in the country’s specific conditions. This legal system will be strictly and consistently enforced, effectively upholding, ensuring, and protecting human rights and citizens’ rights. Respect for the Constitution and the law will become the standard of conduct for all actors in society. National governance will be modern, with a streamlined, efficient, capable, and effective state apparatus that meets the demands of rapid and sustainable national development. The overarching goal is for Vietnam to become a developed, high-income country aligned with socialist orientation.

Resolution No. 68 outlines a vision toward 2045 in which Vietnam’s private economy will develop rapidly, strongly, and sustainably, actively participating in global production and supply chains. The resolution aims for the private sector to attain high competitiveness at both regional and international levels. By 2045, the target is to have at least 3 million enterprises operating within the economy, contributing over 60% of the national GDP.
