Ton Duc Thang University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Beijing Information Science and Technology University, China
On July 13, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and Beijing Information Science and Technology University (BISTU), China, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a framework for cooperation in education, scientific research, and academic exchange between the two universities.
The BISTU delegation was led by Prof. Guo Fu, President of BISTU, and included leaders responsible for academic affairs, graduate education, scientific research management, and academic disciplines in computer science, automation, and optoelectronic engineering. Representing TDTU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President, together with leaders of the University’s functional departments and academic faculties.
Under the agreement, the two universities will collaborate on a range of key initiatives, including student and faculty exchanges, the development of undergraduate and graduate academic programs, and joint research projects. The partnership will also encompass the co-organization of scientific conferences and seminars, short-term academic programs, university–industry collaboration, and the promotion of technology transfer in areas of mutual interest.

The signing of the MoU provides a solid foundation for long-term collaboration between TDTU and BISTU, enabling both universities to leverage their respective strengths in education, scientific research, and the internationalization of higher education.
