Ton Duc Thang University Holds the 2nd University-Wide Meeting of the academic year 2025-2026
On May 6, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the second University-Wide Meeting of the academic year 2025-2026. The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr Tran Trong Dao, President of the University, together with members of the Presidential Board.
Attending the meeting were leaders of academic faculties and functional units across the University.
At the meeting, the Presidential Board and leaders of the University’s units were briefed on the implementation of the President’s directives issued at the first University-Wide Meeting of the academic year 2025-2026. The report focused on evaluating the results, progress, and effectiveness of the tasks assigned to each unit.
The meeting also included discussions and exchanges on the implementation status and future directions across a number of the University’s key areas. The discussions focused on human resource development, science and technology activities, international cooperation, infrastructure development, and quality assurance for academic programs in the new phase.
In the context of rapid digital transformation and the swift advancement of artificial intelligence, the meeting also featured introductory reports and in-depth discussions on online education and the development of digital learning resources; the updating of program learning outcomes in response to the increasingly widespread application of artificial intelligence; and the review of the implementation progress of the University’s Digital Transformation Project, together with key tasks to be carried out in the academic year 2026-2027.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr Tran Trong Dao, President of the University, delivered important concluding remarks and assigned specific tasks to each unit for implementation, ensuring the effective fulfilment of the University’s development plans.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President also shared the University’s upcoming key tasks and development orientations, while inspiring and encouraging the spirit of dedication, innovation, and contribution among the TDTU community.
The University-Wide Meeting is a regular activity of Ton Duc Thang University aimed at reviewing the implementation of assigned tasks, promptly addressing challenges, aligning directions for work implementation, and identifying strategic objectives to support the University’s sustainable development.
