On August 15-16, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a summer conference for the academic year 2024-2025.
The conference was chaired by Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of the University, along with the members of the Presidential Board. Dr. Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council was invited to attend and provide suggestions for the conference.
At the conference, leaders of Faculties, Departments, Institutes, Centers and affiliated units of the University reported the results of the implementation of the academic year’s tasks. After each report, there was a discussion session of the relevant units to comment and provide suggestions for the reported content. To conclude the conference, the President of TDTU highlighted and gave directions on solutions to implement the aforementioned tasks.
In addition to reporting on the results of the previous academic year and formulating the new academic year plans, the conference also focused on discussing ideas to prepare for the implementation of the fourth 5-year Development Plan of the University (period 2025-2030).
At the conference, the University also carried out several activities to strengthen its personnel structure. Specifically, the University announced the decision to appoint Ms. Quan Gia Binh (MA) to hold the position of Director of the Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS).
Following that, the University undertook some steps in the process of consensus voting in order to introduce personnel for the appointment to the position of Vice President of the University.
