Sketch and Drawing in the Coastal City

This summer, lecturers and students majoring in Architecture at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) had a field trip to practice architectural writing in Nha Trang coastal city with lots of sunlight and wind. With the availability of the facilities on TDTU’s campus in Nha Trang, the group of architecture students experienced a week of exciting and rewarding activities.

At Nha Trang Bay’s Club House, Hon Chong Promontory, students had the opportunity to visit and made some site measurements of the architectural structures right on the spot, thereby forming ideas and worldviews for the architectural projects that they will embark on for their future career in Architecture.

During the field trip, students had to complete and participate in many activities related to sketch and drawing, namely Record Drawing Notebook, a photo contest named “I am a K21 Architecture student” for individuals, a personal sketch competition named “Moments” for individuals, individual record drawings, group record drawings, making video clips about the course in Nha Trang, other group activities and games.

Since the train departed on the evening of June 1, 2019, the group that consisted of lecturers and 90 architecture students has regarded themselves as the ambassadors of TDTU and brought the spirit of solidarity, learning, sharing and great enthusiasm to Nha Trang – a beautiful coastal city.
