Dr. Ho Pham Thuc Lan, Co-director of the Bone Muscle Research Group (BMRg) at Ton Duc Thang University, has been conferred the prestigious Alexandre Yersin Prize.

TDTU is the first university in Vietnam that applies the ISI/Scopus international standards in scientific research; the standards which are also applied by the world's most prestigious universities.

The new research finding is the work of the Bone and Muscle Research Group (BMRg) of TDTU.

The main author of this work is Dr. Bharath Kumar Velmurugan, the lecturer of Faculty of Applied Sciences at TDTU.

This study was published in the well-known journal Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, belonging to the Elsevier publisher.

Taking place from the 24th to 25th of May, 2018, ICAS-2018 was co-organized by 5 universities with the goal of promoting the application of advances in biotechnology and chemical engineering to life.
