More Than 2,000 Graduates Receive Degrees from Ton Duc Thang University: Embarking on a New Journey with Knowledge and the Aspiration to Contribute
On May 29, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly held its Graduation Ceremony for 2 new doctoral graduates, 33 new master's graduates, and 2,039 new bachelor's, engineering, architecture, and pharmacy graduates who successfully completed their academic programs and were officially awarded their degrees.
In a dignified and emotional atmosphere, thousands of graduates, together with their families and loved ones, gathered at TDTU to celebrate one of the most significant milestones in their lives—the day they received their degrees after years of dedicated study, personal growth, and development under the University’s roof.
From the very beginning of the ceremony, the campus was filled with the vibrant colors of graduation gowns, beautiful bouquets of flowers, and radiant smiles. This was not only a day of celebration for the graduates but also a joyful occasion for parents and families—those who had quietly supported, sacrificed for, and placed their trust in their children throughout their educational journey.
Remarkable Achievements
This graduation ceremony recognized many outstanding academic accomplishments among TDTU students. Among the graduates were 4 students who successfully completed a second degree program and 567 students who graduated ahead of schedule. These achievements reflect the proactive learning spirit, perseverance, and determination of TDTU students to continuously strive for excellence.
Beyond academic success, today's graduates also represent a generation of students educated in a modern academic environment that encourages scientific research, innovation, professional skill development, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
In his address at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President of TDTU, congratulated all new doctoral, master's, bachelor's, engineering, architecture, and pharmacy graduates while sharing profound messages about the responsibility of intellectuals as Vietnam enters a new era of development.
He emphasized that knowledge only gains true value when it is used to innovate, contribute, and serve society. Every graduate should carry forward a spirit of dedication, lifelong learning, mastery of science and technology, and a commitment to contributing to the nation's development.
Importantly, alongside academic knowledge, the University has consistently nurtured fundamental moral values among its students. One of the first lessons students learn upon entering TDTU is to “study well to honor and repay your parents.” Together with respect for the law and a commitment to serving the community, these are three core values that the University has steadfastly instilled throughout the educational process.
From the Classroom to a Journey of Contribution
At the ceremony, representatives of the graduating class expressed their sincere gratitude to the University, faculty members, and families who had accompanied them throughout their academic journey. Their heartfelt words of appreciation, together with promises to continue learning, working, and contributing to society, created many touching moments for attendees.
For the new master's and doctoral graduates, the ceremony also marked the culmination of years of dedicated research, recognizing their academic achievements and commitment to pursuing knowledge at advanced levels.
Graduation is not an ending—it is the beginning of a new journey. Leaving TDTU, more than 2,000 graduates carry with them knowledge, resilience, gratitude, and the aspiration to contribute as they step into the next chapter of their lives and continue writing their own success stories.
The smiles, embraces, and commemorative photographs captured on this special day will remain cherished memories of youth. And wherever life may take them, TDTU graduates will always carry with them pride in the years they spent learning, growing, and maturing at Ton Duc Thang University.
