On 21 November 2019, Mr. Richard Brabec, Minister of the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic paid an official visit to Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). Accompanying him were representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Federation of Industry, Universities, and Businesses of the Czech Republic.

The visit aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of cooperation programs among TDTU, TDTU’s friendly businesses and localities with Czech universities and businesses over the past years as well as to promote new cooperation programs in the upcoming years.

On this occasion, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Vietnam, the Federation of Czech Industries, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) together with TDTU co-organized the Czech-Vietnamese Business Forum.

30 Czech Republic enterprises and 60 Vietnamese enterprises participated in the Forum with the aim of expanding the customer network, discussing cooperation, trade, and investment promotion.

In addition to businesses, a number of universities and research institutes of the Czech Republic also participated in the Forum to seek opportunities for cooperation with TDTU and Vietnamese universities and research institutes.
