From December 24th, 2018 to February 15th, 2019; Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a short-term education program on Vietnamese language, culture and economy for students of Dongguk University (DU), Republic of Korea. DU students will learn, experience and absorb Vietnamese cultural knowledge through classes in Vietnamese language, culture and customs; visiting Korean enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC); learning about life, practical activities from City-tour trips in Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta.
Dongguk University is in TOP 20 best universities in Republic of Korea, and in the TOP 500 universities in the world (according to QS World University Rankings). The university currently has more than 28,000 students. In addition to educational facilities, Dongguk University also operates 2 Western medicine hospitals and 4 Oriental medicine hospitals.
Dr. Tran Trong Dao, TDTU Vice President said: through short-term education programs, international students in general and Dongguk University students in particular will have a good impression of Vietnamese people and TDTU ; thereby opening up many new and long-term cooperation opportunities. This is also a chance for TDTU students to interact and exchange with students from other countries; improve English communication skills and familiarize with the multicultural environment of the global era.
