On October 3, 2024, at Meeting Room B of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the award ceremony for the Impressive Video Clip Contest, celebrating the 27th Anniversary of the University’s establishment (September 24, 1997 – September 24, 2024) was organized by the University’s Trade Union.
The submission from the Trade Union of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities excellently surpassed 25 other videos to win the First Prize. The Second Prize went to the Trade Union of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, while the Trade Union of the Vietnam – Finland International School (VFIS) secured the Third Prize. Additionally, five consolation prizes were awarded to the following Trade Unions: the Library, the Center for National Defense and Security Education, the Department for Facility Management, the Department of Inspection, Legislation and Security & the University Council Office, and the Creative Language Center.
As part of the activities commemorating the 27th anniversary of the University’s establishment, the contest was a meaningful event to reflect on nearly three decades of TDTU’s construction and development. It also contributed to fostering a sense of responsibility and pride in the University among its staff.
On this occasion, the University’s Trade Union also presented commendations from the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labour to 7 collectives and 20 individuals from Ton Duc Thang University who achieved outstanding results in the academic year 2023-2024’s labour emulation movements and in building a strong Trade Union organization.
