At the Southeast Asian Games 31 - SEA Games 31, the Vietnamese delegation continuously won prestigious medals. Many students and alumni of the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) contributed to this achievement of the delegation.

TDTU students had excellently won 2 gold medals in the team category, 1 silver medal in the individual category, and 1 bronze medal as follows:

• Gold medal for standard Poomsae - team category: Nguyen Thi Kim Ha, Ngo Thi Thuy Dung.
• Gold medal for Creative Poomsae - team category: Hua Van Huy, Chau Tuyet Van, Nguyen Thi Le Kim.
• Bronze medal for Poomsae Performance - individual category: Le Tran Kim Uyen.
• Bronze medal for Kyorugi - individual category: Pham Dang Quang.

The SEA Games is a place where TDTU students and alumni can freely show their talents in competitive contents trained at the University. In 2019, athletes from TDTU also contributed 7 medals to the achievements of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 30th SEA Games.

SEA Games 31 is the most prominent event of Vietnam's sports in 2022 with 40 sports and 526 contents with the number of attendees up to 10,000 people. What delighted the fans at this playground was that the Vietnamese men's football team excellently defended the championship title of SEA Games men's football after the match with the Thai team on May 22, 2022.
