On September 25, 2021, more than 200 students of the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) attended the talkshow "Global citizen - The journey to break the cocoon in a multinational environment".

The speakers were Ms. Sollie Vu – Human Resources Business Partner at Huawei, Mr. Thien Nguyen - Technical Support Specialist at Supermetrics and Ms. Vy Dang - Digital Marketing Specialist at Neste from Finland.

With the topic "Global citizen", the talkshow revolved around the preparation needed to become a global citizen in the future, especially stepping out of the comfort zone and learning new things. With their learning and working experiences, the speakers took turns to share tips to help students improve their English ability from average to proficiency. The speakers also shared with students how to adapt to a multinational working environment, especially when facing cultural and language barriers.

Participants and speakers had open discussions about studying abroad, setting goals for learning English, cultural integration in a globalized environment, etc. The actual sharings of the speakers have motivated students to continue their efforts, improve themselves and prepare well to become global citizens.
