Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony between Ton Duc Thang University and the University of Da Nang
On March 30, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and the University of Da Nang (UD) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, marking a new milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two higher education institutions.
The TDTU delegation, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trong Dao – President of the University, paid a visit and held a working session at UD. The delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – President of UD, together with leaders of its member universities and representatives of functional units.
At the working session, leaders of the two institutions agreed to strengthen comprehensive cooperation across areas including training, scientific research, academic resource sharing, innovation, and university governance. The partnership will focus on developing joint and inter-institutional research programs, facilitating the participation of experts and scholars from both sides in collaborative research groups, and coordinating the implementation of research projects and initiatives, as well as the publication of research outcomes in national and international academic forums.
Both institutions will also promote the exchange of lecturers and experts, collaborate in the development and implementation of study programs, particularly at the graduate level, and jointly share and effectively utilize academic resources, laboratories, databases, and infrastructure supporting training and research activities.
In addition, international collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship, and digital transformation in higher education will continue to be key priorities, contributing to enhancing the quality of education and the research capacity of both institutions.
The signing of the cooperation agreement between Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and University of Da Nang took place in the context of higher education institutions increasingly seeking to strengthen linkages, share resources, and leverage their respective strengths to enhance the quality of education, research, and international integration. This program also represents a practical effort to realize the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, as well as Resolution No. 71 on breakthrough development in education and training.
As part of the program, Ton Duc Thang University presented a commemorative medal to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu in recognition of his significant contributions to promoting cooperation between the two institutions.
The MoU will be implemented over the 2026–2028 period, opening up numerous opportunities for effective collaboration, contributing to the sustainable development of both institutions and to the overall advancement of Vietnam’s higher education system.
