TDTU Holds the Student Dialogue for Semester 2, Academic Year 2024–2025
To promote the spirit of democracy, listen to student’s opinions, and continuously improve the quality of student services, on the afternoon of May 8, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a Dialogue between the University’s leadership and students for Semester 2, Academic Year 2024–2025.
Attending the Dialogue were Presidential Board, leaders of Faculties, Departments, and Centers, along with student representatives from all academic levels, majors, and courses across the University.
At the Dialogue, students openly expressed a wide range of opinions, suggestions, and concerns related to academic affairs, student support mechanisms, and conditions for studying and living. Many students also shared their satisfaction and pride in experiencing the modern, civilized learning environment and services at TDTU. At the same time, they expressed a desire for more opportunities to connect, interact, and engage with the University’s lecturers and staff.

Representatives from specialized units, Faculties, and functional Departments directly engaged in discussions, provided detailed explanations on academic procedures, study plans, and career connection opportunities, while also attentively listening to and acknowledging students’ valid feedback. The information shared helped students gain a clearer understanding of the University’s operational mechanisms, and at the same time, inspired a sense of proactiveness and responsibility in joining the University’s efforts to create an outstanding educational environment.


In his concluding remarks at the Dialogue, Dr. Tran Trong Dao – President of the University – highly appreciated the students’ sense of responsibility, openness, and dedication in contributing to the development of the institution. He emphasized that students’ constructive input serves as a valuable foundation for the University to continue improving the quality of education, refining service processes, and enhancing the overall learning experience. He also assigned specific tasks to relevant units to promptly take in the feedback and implement appropriate improvement measures in the near future.

On this occasion, the President also took the opportunity to share with students the University’s recent outstanding achievements. These include TDTU’s rising position in international rankings, its state-of-the-art, internationally standardized facilities, and study programs that are increasingly aligned with global trends. He emphasized that the entire TDTU community is working diligently every day to fulfill its educational mission to train high-quality human resources that contribute to the sustainable development of the nation.
The President also delivered an inspiring message to the students: focus on studies, embrace creativity, and actively integrate into the digital era and the new era of national development. He encouraged students to nurture their aspirations, continually strive for self-improvement, excel in their academic journey, and be well-prepared for their personal and professional paths, contributing meaningfully to the construction and devotion of the nation.
The Dialogue concluded in a spirit of openness, mutual respect, and constructive engagement. This annual event reflects Ton Duc Thang University’s learner-centered approach and stands as a testament to its commitment to continuous innovation and the enhancement of comprehensive educational quality.
