On March 24, 2024 at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of TDTU in coordination with Student cell committees at all levels, solemnly organized the Party Admission Ceremony for 6 outstanding union members on the occasion of the 93^rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024).

Attending the Ceremony were comrade Dang Thuy Khanh Van - Member of the Executive Committee, Head of the Party Committee’s Propaganda Department of Ho Chi Minh University and College; Comrade Nguyen Tat Toan - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the School Youth Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, Standing Vice President of the Vietnamese Student Association of Ho Chi Minh City; Dr. Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the TDTU Council; Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau – TDTU Vice President; and fellow Party members, members of the TDTU Youth Union – Association Executive Committee, parents of new Party members and members of Party cells.

In a joyful atmosphere to celebrate the occasion, TDTU Youth Union held an incense offering ceremony to report achievements to President Ton Duc Thang, summarize the work of fostering, discovering and introducing the source of elite Union members to the Party, and coordinated to organize the Admission Ceremony of new Party members.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the TDTU Council congratulated the Party Cell groups, praised the efforts of the TDTU Youth Union and Party Cell groups and assigned tasks to new Party comrades admitted on this special occasion.

Furthermore, TDTU Youth Union held a Union member admission ceremony for 86 advanced youth who are eligible to join the group, and awarded certificates of merit to 12 affiliated Unions with outstanding contributions to Youth Union work and youth movements. TDTU Student Association awarded certificates of merit to 16 affiliated Associations that have made positive contributions to the Association’s work and the student movement.

Following the above successes, the Union launched a Youth movement to actively emulate and celebrate the 55^th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament (1969 - 2024) and aims to celebrate the 50^th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and National Unification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
