On January 6, 2023, the Vietnamese Student Association of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) celebrated the 73rd anniversary of the Traditional Student Day (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2023) and commended the title of "Student with 5 Merits" at the University level.

The ceremony was honored with the presence of Comrade Dao Thi Anh - Officer of the Organization and Inspection Committee of the City Youth Union, Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President, Mr. Tran Le Anh Huy - Secretary of the Youth Union, Mr. Tran Hai Long - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Inspection Committee, Chairman of the Student Association and the teachers in charge of faculties and functional units, Union members and students of TDTU.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Hai Long - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Inspection Committee, President of the Student Association of the University reviewed the traditions of student day. On this occasion, the University recognized the title and rewarded 223 students who achieved the title of "Student with 5 Merits" at the University level and individuals with excellent achievements in the Student Association’s work, and launched emulation movement for the next academic year.

The Student Association also organized a program to exchange and reward members of clubs, teams and groups that have made positive contributions to the Association’s work and student’s movements in the academic year 2021 - 2022. The event contributed to connecting the TDTU student community, promoting the spirit of devotion and creating more motivation for students to make efforts to devote, create great values ​​and achievements for the University and the society.
