Four more TDTU undergraduate curricula are recognized by AUN-QA

In March 2023, The ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) recognized four undergraduate programmes in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Interior Design, and Environmental Engineering Technology. According to the results, the recognition period is five years, from January 22, 2023 to January 21, 2028.

With the addition of these four recognized undergraduate programmes, the university now has had a total of 15 recognized undergraduate programmes by AUN-QA, including:

  • Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Software Engineering.
  • Environmental Science.
  • Finance and Banking.
  • Applied Mathematics.
  • Accounting.
  • Biotechnology.
  • English Language.
  • Architecture.
  • Graphic.
  • Labor Relations.
  • Pharmacy.
  • Chemical Engineering.
  • Interior Design.
  • Environmental Engineering Technology.

The AUN-QA standards set specific, clear criteria, and comprehensively evaluate the training programme from many aspects, such as expected learning outcomes, programme structure, teaching staff, facilities, and programme learning outcomes, among others. The fact that four undergraduate programmes are evaluated and recognized by the AUN-QA organization is an important step for TDTU in the process of internationalization and development towards a world-class university.

In addition to the accreditation under AUN-QA’s standards, the university also carries out accreditation under the standards of FIBAA and ASIIN organizations. Specifically, in 2021, 4 undergraduate programmes, including Labor Relations, Regional and Urban Planning, Sociology, and Vietnamese Studies - Tourism and Tourism Management were successfully accredited under the FIBAA accreditation standards. TDTU will conduct more accreditation to improve the quality of training programmes following international accreditation standards.
