In 2 days, June 16 and 17, 2023, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a training conference on Party building in 2023 for all Party committees of affiliated cells.
Professional training was directly conducted by Ms. Dinh Thi Thao Trang - member of the Standing Committee, the Inspection Committee’s Chairwoman of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University and College. Ms. Do Thi Ha - member of the Standing committee, Head of the Party Committee’s Organization Board of Ho Chi Minh City University and College. From TDTU, there were Mr. Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Mr. Tran Trong Dao - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President; Ms. Pham Thi Minh Ly - member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Party Committee’s Inspection Committee; Members of the Executive Committee of the University Party Committee; Members in the list of planned personnel for the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee; The Secretary, Deputy Secretary, cells’ members directly under the Party Committee of the University.
In the opening speech, Mr. Vu Anh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council emphasized that the conference aimed to raise awareness and professionalism for comrades at the cell level for the term 2022 - 2025, fostering knowledge about Party building in general and inspection and supervision in particular. This was a regular and important task of Party organizations in order to provide basic knowledge so that each comrade in the Party cell could better perform his or her roles and responsibilities in leading and directing the implementation, performing tasks of the Party at the unit. In addition, through the training session, it was necessary to strengthen the exchange and sharing of information on concerns and problems in the implementation process in order to promptly remove and overcome difficulties and obstacles in this process next time.
On June 16, 2023, delegates were informed of a number of new contents of the documents: Regulation No. 58-QĐ/TW dated February 8, 2022 of the Politburo stipulating “Some issues on the internal political protection and security of the Party” refers to a number of contents, such as the consideration and admission of people with political problems to the Party; the consideration and arrangement of cadres and Party members with political problems; authority and responsibilities of organizations and individuals... Also, the main contents of Regulation No. 24-QĐ/TW dated July 30, 2021 on the implementation of the Party Charter were presented, in which, more focus was placed on new points on the work of Party admission; recognition of official Party members; awarded the Party Badge; Transferring Party activities and managing Party member files…
On June 17, 2023, the delegates were instructed and informed about the contents related to the Party’s inspection, supervision and discipline; the main contents and new points of Regulation No. 22-QĐ/TW dated July 28, 2021 of the Party Central Committee on inspection, supervision and discipline of the Party; inspection and supervision duties at the cells directly under the Party Committee.
After the training course, the Party committee members will apply the knowledge and content to their cell and unit, thereby helping Party committees at all levels to master more knowledge, apply it to practical work, bring high efficiency in Party building organization and Party inspection, supervision and discipline, which contributes to building a clean and strong Party organization.
On this occasion, the delegation came to offer incense at the Memorial House and Statue of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau in Dat Do town, Dat Do district and recalled the glorious historical tradition of the nation. In the delegation to the memorial area, there was the presence of Mr. Nguyen Minh Dung - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Head of the Finance Committee of the General Confederation, Member of the University Council.
