According to the announcement from the Organization Committee of the award for Outstanding Female Student in Science and Technology in 2022, Le Quynh Anh, a student majoring in Biotechnology from the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), was honored to be one of 20 Outstanding Female Students who received the award.
Co-organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and other Ministries and Departments, the award aims to honor female students with excellent achievements in studying and researching science and technology, contributing to nurturing talents who are passionate about science and technology.
In 2022, the award extended to a select cohort of those from 11 majors, including Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology, Automation and Control Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering Technology, and Material Technology.
Quynh Anh passed the selection rounds of 70 nominees to become one of the 20 excellent female students due to her outstanding achievements, such as the GPA of 3.4/4.0, the co-author of a scientific article published in an international journal in the Q2 list, the leader of a scientific university-leveled project that won the first prize, the member of a scientific university-leveled project that won the first prize, the second prize winner in the 2nd Olympic Contest of Biology 2022, and the consolation prize in the 23rd Euréka Scientific Research Student Award 2021 organized by Ho Chi Minh Youth Union.
This achievement marked a milestone in Quynh Anh’s continuous learning, especially with a passion for scientific research in the field of Biotechnology, providing her with stepping stones to help promote research skills, strive to become an excellent young scientist, and make significant contributions to the community.
