On the afternoon of March 20, 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a signing ceremony of cooperation agreement with CJ Cau Tre Foods Joint Stock Company (Cau Tre Company). Cau Tre Company (formerly known as Cau Tre Export Processing Enterprise) was established in 1982, and operates in the field of processing seafood and agricultural products. The products are sold via supermarkets and distribution agents nationwide. With many similarities with TDTU such as starting with many difficulties but with a strong desire to have the brand identified in the industry, Cau Tre Company has built up its domestic reputation, and exported the products to many developed countries in the world such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, America, Canada, etc.

At the ceremony, the two sides discussed issues such as organizing student internships, recruitment priorities given to graduates of Applied Science and Electrical- Electronics major, especially to TDTU students of High Quality Program. The agreement also laid the foundation for a strategic partnership between TDTU and Cau Tre Company in research and technology transfer.

After the signing ceremony, the academic units of TDTU will have meetings to discuss in more details the specific tasks that can and will be implemented with Cau Tre Company.
