Announcement of the Decision Recognizing the Secretary of the Youth Union of Ton Duc Thang University for the 7th Term (2025–2027)
On the afternoon of June 18, 2026, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a ceremony to announce the Decision recognizing the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ton Duc Thang University for the 7th term (2025–2027).
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Dang Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and President of the Vietnam National Union of Students – Ho Chi Minh City, together with representatives of the Union’s specialized departments. Representing TDTU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University, along with representatives of the Party Committee, Trade Union, Youth Union, Viet Nam National Union of Students of TDTU, and affiliated Youth Union units.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dang Khoa presented the Decision recognizing Mr. Nguyen Truong Tho as Secretary of the TDTU Youth Union for the 7th term (2025–2027). The appointment acknowledges his dedication, contributions, and development as a Youth Union officer, while demonstrating the trust and confidence that Youth Union organizations at all levels place in the University’s young leaders.
In their remarks at the ceremony, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and TDTU expressed high expectations for the newly appointed Secretary. They also conveyed their confidence that the University Youth Union Executive Committee would continue to foster unity, innovation, and creativity; further enhance the quality of Youth Union activities and youth movements; and contribute to building a comprehensive, dynamic, and internationally integrated educational environment at TDTU.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Truong Tho expressed his honor at being entrusted with this important responsibility. He reaffirmed his commitment to continuous self-improvement and to upholding the responsibility, leadership, and dedication of a Youth Union officer. Together with the University Youth Union and Student Association, he pledged to further enhance the quality and effectiveness of Youth Union activities and youth movements, contributing meaningfully to the sustainable development of TDTU.
