Ton Duc Thang University joins the National Conference on studying and implementing the 14th National Party Congress Resolution

On February 7, 2026, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted an online connection point to attend the National Conference on studying, disseminating, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.

The Conference was organized by the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation. The main venue was Dien Hong Hall at the National Assembly House, connected to connection points at ministries, sectors, localities, agencies, and units nationwide. General Secretary To Lam attended and delivered directives at the main venue.

At the TDTU connection point, attendees included the University Party Committee, the University Presidential Board, members of the Party Executive Committee, Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of affiliated Party cells, as well as the University’s officials and Party members.

The Conference focused on studying, disseminating, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, emphasizing new points, core contents, and breakthrough orientations. On that basis, Party Committees at all levels are responsible for leading and directing the development of action programs to implement the Resolution, while promoting extensive communication throughout the Party, the people, and the armed forces to ensure unity in awareness and action during implementation. The Conference also helps officials and Party members firmly grasp the core contents and new points of the documents adopted at the 14th National Party Congress.

Key thematic presentations clarified the central, core, and new contents, as well as the 40-year experience of national renewal reflected in the Political Report of the 11th Party Central Committee presented at the 14th National Party Congress. The Conference also addressed the action program for implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, reviewed five years of implementing the 2021-2030 Socio-Economic Development Strategy, and discussed the formulation of the development plan for the 2026-2030 period.

Additional thematic sessions reviewed Party-building work during the 13th Congress term and 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025); outlined orientations, tasks, and solutions for Party-building and implementation of the Party Charter during the 14th Congress term; emphasized promoting the strength of great national unity in the cause of national construction, development, and safeguarding the Fatherland in the new era; introduced new thinking on national defense and safeguarding the Fatherland, as well as national security; and presented orientations for foreign affairs development in the new era, commensurate with the country’s historical stature, cultural values, and international standing.

In his directive remarks at the Conference, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the tasks ahead are extremely demanding, yet they also present great opportunities if they are seized and acted upon decisively. The country’s future development depends largely on the sense of responsibility, political steadfastness, and capacity for action of each Party committee, each Party organization, and every official and Party member, especially those in leadership positions.

General Secretary To Lam called on Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at all levels to promptly translate the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress into action programs and plans appropriate to their functions, tasks, and practical conditions immediately following the Conference. He stressed the need to clearly identify priority tasks requiring immediate action and breakthrough areas requiring focused leadership and direction, ensuring that words are matched by action and that implementation is carried through thoroughly to achieve concrete results.
