Conference Reviewing Party-Building Activities in 2025 and Outlining Key Tasks for 2026 of the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University
On January 31, 2026, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the Conference Reviewing Party-Building Activities in 2025 and Outlining Key Tasks for 2026. The conference was held to assess the results of implementing political tasks and Party-building activities in 2025, thereby identifying key directions, tasks, and solutions for 2026 to meet the requirements of a new stage of development.
Attending the conference, representing the distinguished guests and higher-level authorities, were Comrade Dang Ngoc Tung - Former Member of the Party Central Committee and Former Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Comrade Huynh Tan Dinh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Party Committee Inspection Commission of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee; and Comrade Doan Truong Quang – Head of the Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
On the side of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the conference was attended by Comrade Tran Trong Dao – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University; Comrade Vo Hoang Duy – Member of the Standing Committee and Vice President of the University; Comrade Pham Thi Minh Ly – Member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Party Committee Inspection Commission; along with members of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee and all members of the University Party Committee.
At the conference, Comrade Pham Thi Minh Ly – Member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Party Committee Inspection Commission – presented the report on the results of Party-building activities in 2025 and the key directions and tasks for 2026 of the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University, along with the report on the 2025 quality assessment of grassroots Party organizations and Party members.
Subsequently, the conference heard reports and presentations from representatives of the Party cells, which demonstrated that the Party-building activities of the TDTU Party Committee in 2025 achieved many significant results, while also identifying issues that require further exchange and discussion in order to be further improved in the time ahead.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Tran Trong Dao – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University – acknowledged the results achieved in carrying out political tasks in 2025 and highly appreciated the efforts of all Party members of the University Party Committee over the past period. He also pointed out the achievements and shortcomings, as well as key issues requiring attention in each area of work, in order to successfully accomplish the professional objectives and tasks set for 2026.
On this occasion, the University Party Committee presented Golden Plaques to Party members marking 10, 15, 20, 25, 45, 50, and 55 years of Party membership; awarded Certificates of Merit for exemplary “Effective Mass Mobilization” in 2025, issued by the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, to two collectives and four individuals; and commended four collectives and seventy-four individuals for outstanding performance in fulfilling their duties in 2025.
