On the morning of 11 March 2020, Phong Thai Group (Taiwan), represented by Mr. Le Quoc Thanh, Chief Executive Officer in Vietnam, visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President of TDTU; Dr. Dong Sy Thien Chau, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering; and Head of TDTU Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni welcomed and worked with the Delegation.
The two sides discussed upcoming cooperation contents such as: factory visits, granting scholarships, creating jobs for students and prioritizing students place of residence in work allocation process. Concurrently, TDTU will prioritize the high quality labor to the Group.
Mr. Le Quoc Thanh said that in order to meet development needs in the coming years, Phong Thai Group needs human resources who are good at using English, equipped with good knowledge base, good at handling situations, and strictly abide global standards of quality management. According to Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, these are inherent characteristics of TDTU students. Currently, the University has many majors that meet the needs of the Group, especially Automation, Renewable Energy and Labor Safety. In addition, TDTU is ready to cooperate with the Group to design training programs in accordance with the Group’s production needs and plans.
