On February 16, 2022, Dr. Nguyen Quan - Chairman of Vietnam Automation Association, former Minister of Science and Technology and some representatives of Vietnam Automation Association visited and worked at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

There were Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Head of the Department of Graduate Studies, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau - Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering together with some lecturers of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to welcome and work with the Delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged a number of cooperation contents on scientific research and technology transfer in the field of automation. Dr. Nguyen Quan also asked the University to participate in the International Conference and Exhibition on Control and Automation (6th VCCA); send experts, researchers, lecturers and students to attend the Conference; and invite partners of the University to attend the business forum in the Conference.

Vietnam Automation Association and Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association have had a number of important cooperation programs in recent years. In November 2020, TDTU and Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association have successfully coordinated to organize the Automation Festival 2020 with the theme "Digital transformation in manufacturing enterprises" which has been successfully organized with the participation in exhibiting products and introducing solutions of many enterprises.
