On the morning of 4 November 2019, the Delegation of the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia including Prof. David Lovell, Associate Dean (International); Prof. Warrick Lawson, Head of the School of Physical, Environmental and Mathematical Sciences; Prof. Scott Tyo, Head of School School of Engineering and Information Technology, along with Mr. Long Nguyen, Mekong Region Manager of UNSW Global, visited and cooperated with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Dr. Tran Minh Tung, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering; Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Dr. Truong Dinh Tu, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; and Ms. Truong My Hanh Trinh, Assistant Director of Institute of International Cooperation and Development Research welcomed and worked with the delegation of UNSW.

The two sides exchanged views on potential cooperation programs between TDTU and UNSW, such as the exchange of lecturers as well as research cooperation in their fields of strength.

Prof. David Lovell highly praised TDTU’s academic environment and said that TDTU is one of the best campuses having good facilities in the world.

UNSW was founded in 1949. It is headquartered in Sydney and is a founding Member of Go8 (Australia’s Leading Group of Research Universities). UNSW is ranked 49 in the world according to the QS World University Rankings 2019.
